I have the same need too. Searching in the forum I found other attempts to achieve this goal, most of them dealing with rules and js scripts run against new documents filed into RM.
Unfortunately I am facing an issue, I guess it's a RM bug but I could not find any match in the forum. Issue is that the script is not shown in the drop down list of available scripts when you select 'execute script' as the rule, well…there is no list at all.
Obviously I did what required:
1. Uploaded the js into data dictionary under RM - RM scripts
Has anyone seen this issue already? Any solution? Please note that adding the js to data dictionary - scripts works for cm sites rules (the list appears and the script is there).
I am running community 5.1 and RM 2.3c or 2.5 (night build), same issue
Edit: I added a few pictures:
1. in the 1st it's shown how the script has been added to the right section
2. in the 2nd it's shown how the script selection drop down list is missing. If I mark "Execute in background" then the script is selectable in case of execution failure
