Email Config (For live Domain)

So I have read the docs and many of the various posts covering this topic… and they have all helped.

The Initial Problem: I need to get Alfresco to Send Email Invites, and I do not want to use gmail.

So I setup my CENTOS 6 Minimal x64 Server
Running Apache2 / MySQL - Drupal Site
Packaged Alfresco 4.2d installation

<blockcode>
### I have my hostname setup under my domain:

user@oasisinitiative$ hostname
user@oasisinitiative$ oasisinitiative.net

### Sendmail is running and sending mail on port 25
### I have tested this both by:

user@oasisinitiative$ mail -v my.email@me.com
user@oasisinitiative$ Subject: Test
user@oasisinitiative$ Test message
user@oasisinitiative$ .
</blockcode>

Which sends a message from user@oasisinitiative.net successfully

This is a clean install with the following changes to my alfreso-global.properties file:

### E-mail site invitation setting ###
notification.email.siteinvite=true

### Email settings
mail.host=127.0.0.1
mail.port=25
mail.username=user
mail.password=password
#mail.protocol=smtps
#mail.smtps.starttls.enable=true
#mail.smtps.auth=true
mail.from.default=no-reply@oasisinitiative.net

### Test Mail Settings
mail.testmessage.send=true
mail.testmessage.to=my.email@me.com
mail.testmessage.subject=Outbound SMTP

I receive the test messages send to addressed like user@gmail.com, user@icloud.com, etc

But I am not receiving messages sent under my own domain: someone@oasisinitiative.net

My theory is that the server believes that it is oasisinitiative.net and therefor routes the messages locally… but my mail server is hosted on Office 365.

I have even tried using the address listed in the Office 365 MX records…

oasisinitiative-net.mail.eo.outlook.com
oasisinitiative-net.mail.protection.outlook.com

Any Ideas on how to get my invitations to send to my oasisinitiative.net addresses?
