Alfresco - nfs - directory with more than 120 files

Question asked by mightgic on Jul 3, 2014
Hi Community,

I use Alfresco and Share for few years now.
It runs on a Debian stable 7.1 with a backported Tomcat7, Oracle JVM 1.7.0_10 and MySQL 5.5.

I use nfs connector to mount my Alfresco repositories and unison to synchronize my local file system with Alfresco repositories.
It works fine for more than 1 year but I have a problem when a directory contains more than 120 files.

In this case, files appear twice with a "ls". And I have an error : "Too many levels of symbolic links".

This is my options in alfresco-global.properties :
nfs.enabled=true
nfs.mountServerPort=2250
nfs.nfsServerPort=2249
nfs.rpcRegisterPort=0
nfs.threadPool=32
nfs.portMapperPort=1111
nfs.portMapperEnabled=true
nfs.sessionDebug=ERROR
nfs.mountServerDebug=true
nfs.user.mappings=alfresco
nfs.user.mappings.value.alfresco.uid=1200
nfs.user.mappings.value.alfresco.gid=1200

And this is my mount options :
mount -t nfs -o hard,nointr,retrans=45,retry=1,timeo=20,actimeo=3,nolock,mountport=2250,port=2249,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,noatime,proto=tcp localhost:/alfresco /media/alfresco/

I have an error log in /var/log/messages :
Jul  8 09:23:51 club38 kernel: [3105769.641631] NFS: directory docTDI/html contains a readdir loop.Please contact your server vendor.  The file: _gestion_groupes_8script_a2d7f09a1edd4b176336887522a61cf45_icgraph.png has duplicate cookie 6

I posted my problem in English forum too : https://forums.alfresco.com/forum/installation-upgrades-configuration-integration/configuration/alfresco-nfs-directory-more-100

I use nfs-common 1.2.8-6, libnfsidmap2:amd64 0.25-5 and kernel 3.2.0-4-amd64.

Any help will be welcome !
