URGENT: Alfresco share time zone issue

We are having one custom metadata date field.

User edits that field from alfresco share in form with form control date.ftl.

When user clicks on create button of form, the actual date stored is '-1' less than the selected date.

e.g,
User selects 9th july 2014 from alfresco share UI from calender control but actual it stores 8th July.

Our server is in EDT timezone and user is in other timezone like CST,IST…

I saw that when user selects the date from UI, it appends 00:00:00 as a time stamp and when actually date gets stored by alfresco, it stores 20:00:00 as time stamp (-4 offset).

e.g,
User selection: 9th july (2014-07-09T00:00:00.000+00:00)
Alfresco store: 8th july (2014-07-08T20:00:00 EDT)

I want user date selection as it is.

Please advice.
