Alfresco OAI PMH compliance

Question asked by narasinghapanigrahi on Jul 14, 2014
Dear Members,

I wanted to know if Alfresco repository is OAI PMH compliant. I tried to google it and found a very old link "http://forums.alfresco.com/forum/developer-discussions/technical-architecture-discussion/oai-pmh-support-07192006-1716" but it is not answered yet.

Would be grateful if some one could help with the information, on any links that I could refer to.

Interoperability through Metadata Exchange

The Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) is a low-barrier mechanism for repository interoperability. Data Providers are repositories that expose structured metadata via OAI-PMH. Service Providers then make OAI-PMH service requests to harvest that metadata. OAI-PMH is a set of six verbs or services that are invoked within HTTP.
