Not able to recover Alfresco Installation

Hi all

We have an Amazon EC2 configuration created by an instance and a External Volume. In our configuration, we use the Amazon EC2 instance to have the DB and the Alfresco installation (Commmunity 3.0), however the dir.root (alf_data) and the mysql backups are in an independent  External Volume.

Issue is that our Amazon Instance got corrupted and now we have launched a new one and run the Alfresco Installation. We have added the External Volume to the new instance and mounted this new volume in the instance.

After this step was got, we have modified the dir.root property in the
- "Alfresco/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/"
- "Alfresco/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension/"
files, making them to point to the volume alf_data in /mnt/alfresco/alf_data.

After stoping and restarting Alfresco, we got the error message that the dir.root property is not set correctly

But it is I think, (in case the files we needed to modify are the ones I previously mentioned).

We have run the Full Index Recovery and it worked fine at 100%% but we keep getting this message. It is not that we are using a backup, we are using the "real data" that was in an external storage volume that now is "plugged" to the new instance. Why are we getting this error? Which procedure must we follow?.

Thanks a lot in advance!!
