How to use Alfresco with my own domain?

Question asked by traste on Jun 25, 2015
Hi,

I've installed Alfresco on a Windows 7 machine we use as server. I know this is not ideal, but it's the best we can do right now :-/. We access Alfresco through an IP:

192.168.2.252:8080/share/

I know, according to <a href="https://forums.alfresco.com/forum/installation-upgrades-configuration-integration/installation-upgrades/how-access-alfresco">this</a>, that we can use services like no-ip.org to access it from outside this way:

example.no-ip.org:8080/share/

But what I want to do is something close to <a href="https://forums.alfresco.com/forum/end-user-discussions/alfresco-explorer/alfresco-web-client-not-working-dns-condiguration">this</a>:

mydomain.com/share

Although, ideally, Id like to remove the "share" part. Any suggestions? Thank you
