Credentials Unrecognized

I'm a new user. I downloaded and installed the Community product 2 weeks ago. Built several sites and lists. Uploaded some files etc giving the product a test drive and was impressed.

However, today I attempted to sign on again and my credentials are not recognized. Maybe I forgot my password? Nope, the email address I used to create the account (and received welcome messages) is not recognized. I thought that was odd.

I attempted to reinstall the product but then I got a server/port error. I did not uninstall first.

Please let me know what I need to do or if more information is needed.


Follow up - I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but still my password is not accepted at the sign on screen for admin user.
