Add JAXB annotations to entities to support serialization

Question asked by tstephen on Mar 19, 2012
One of the most useful approaches I have found to exposing RESTful services is for the beans that are transferred between the service and its clients to contain JAXB annotations. This allows the beans to be serialized with very little or no code to both XML and, using the Jackson library, to JSON.

In embedding Activiti into other applications this would be very useful, particularly for returning lists of Tasks. You can see an example of what I'm meaning in greater detail in the Jersey docs:

I am not much familiar with the Activiti RESTful client but I imagine it too could benefit from this enhancement.
