Extending AbstractCustomServiceTask with class-property?

Question asked by mi_ka on May 7, 2014

I try to extend the ServiceTask with various Properties and adding it to the Palette. I made my own Task type via extending AbstractCustomServiceTask and added my Text Properties etc. (as described in the User Guide). But how can I specify my Class which is called when the Task gets executed? I would like a field, like in the standard ServiceTask, where I can select my the class.

The User Guide referred to the @Runtime annotation, but I must not change the code when I want to call a different class.
If it isn't possible to use a Property to specify my class, how can I solve my problem?

I found another topic with the same problem, but there was no further answer.

I hope my problem became clear.

Best regards.
