Alfresco static content Cache help !!

Team,

We are using apache 2.2 + siteminder (CA) + external auth with alfresco share on version 5.1.x

can anyone help how do I use my existing apache to cache alfresco static contents, so it will load faster ?

We may use nginx but here we do have siteminder which only support "apache httpd"

we have max as of now 2 nodes in cluster, but load is high so any one please help with configuration for caching those contents ( png/jpeg/js/css  etc).

Re: Alfresco static content Cache help !!

Are you able to add and enable apache modules on your servers or are you restricted? Since apache 2.2 you could use mod_cache and its cousins Caching Guide - Apache HTTP Server Version 2.2 . Is your alfresco tomcat connected via ajp or "reverseProxy"?

I'm asking because I don't know much about siteMinder..

It is via AJP.

FYI : we do not have root access.

So you should ask your admin (or the one who has root access and is able to configure your httpd) what to do.
