I am a Senior Software Engineer.
I would like to know about this platform.
I am interested to how I can give my technical inputs.
It is a matter of what meaning you infer to "activities relevant to Alfresco".
Is it only for activities relevant to Alfresco the company? No
Is it only for activities relevant to Alfresco the classic ECM software product? No
Is it only for activities relevant to the product portfolio offered by Alfresco? In some sense, yes
Generally, this platform is for activities relevant to the community / ecosystem of third-party developers, integrators, partners and end-users around the Alfresco-provided products, tools and frameworks. It is meant as a living platform where we (the community) can come together and collaborate, exchange ideas, tips and what-not... Alfresco provides the platform and the basic setup aimed at knowledge management, but in the end it is up to us how we want to use this platform to help us grow the community - and Alfresco will try to facilitate our ativities / support our needs within reason.
What kind of inputs do you want to give? If it is about documenting standard practices, technical concepts etc, then you might want to create a "Document" in any of the spaces (Content Services, Process Services, Application Development Framework). If you have questions, create a "Question". And if you have something that you wanted to discuss (i.e. open ended; without a clear "answer" / result), then you can create a "Discussion".
If you want to make some sort of contribution or feature / enhancement request, then the Alfresco JIRA is the more appropriate platform to use - although you can certainyl use this platform to discuss requirements / concepts before filing an issue.
