Hi,

I am using activiti 6.

activiti.cfg.xml :

<beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans.xsd">

<bean id="processEngineConfiguration"
class="org.activiti.engine.impl.cfg.StandaloneProcessEngineConfiguration">

<property name="dataSource" ref="dataSource" />
<property name="databaseSchemaUpdate" value="true" />
<property name="asyncExecutorActivate" value="false" />

</bean>

</beans>

datasource.cfg.xml :

<bean id="dataSource" class="org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSource">
<property name="driverClassName" value="${jdbc.driverClassName}" />
<property name="url" value="${jdbc.url}" />
<property name="username" value="${jdbc.username}" />
<property name="password" value="${jdbc.password}" />
<property name="defaultAutoCommit" value="false" />
</bean>

On Start up tomcat runs fine without error.

However no tables are getting created.

I also noticed ProcessEngine is null using this code:

ProcessEngine processEngine = ProcessEngines.getDefaultProcessEngine();

I am using MySQL 5.7.22

Thanks,

Outcomes
