How to add custom configuration from UI dynamically?

I have ACS community 6.1 installed.

How to add custom configuration for ACS from UI dynamically similar to how it is done by Enterprise Admin console?

This changes should be persistent in Docker or Kubernetes environment.

Alfresco Enterprise uses JMX to persist configuration. This feature is not available in Community.

There was some project to start creating JMX Beans for Community, but it has been abandoned:

The 1.1.0.0 version of OOTBee Support Tools includes an Admin Console tool to change subsystem configuration on-the-fly. It does not have structured forms like Enterprise does, but should cover a wide range of the JMX config. It can be found as a plugin to the "Command Console" page when using the latest snapshot (documentation still to be done). And in addition to the UI, the addon includes a properties persister so subsystem configuration changes are stored in the database, similar to how JMX handles it, to be re-applied after a restart.
