Alfresco Desktop sync

Hi,

Having alfresco 6.1 enterprise edition(SSO) with LDAP. and planning to upgrade alfresco 7.2 and install sync service 3.8. When we login with Desktop client, it prompts for username and password and it works with NTLM users and not working for LDAP users. We need to show the LDAP login page or SSO Login page while accessing alfresco url from Desktop sync client.  Kindly let me know if any configuration in sync service to open the SSO Login page. 

One more doubt also

If we install Identity service and redirect the alfresco url to ldap/sso login page url. It will do the same authentication method for alfresco and share redirection also. Is there a way to configure specific to Desktop sync service/client.
