alfresco pdf toolkit insert pdf page feature is not working on community edition 5.2d

Good day Folks,

Please I have 2 challenges I need some assistance on:

1. The "insert pdf" feature in the alfresco pdf toolkit does not work in alfresco community edition 5.2d. It keeps giving an "insert failure" error. How can I resolve this.
   
   
2. Can I ask restrict some pdftoolkit features from showing for some users and it is possible, how do i go about it.

In relation to the first error, do you have a detailed stacktrace of the error?

Customizing pdftoolkit actions can be achieved by customizing default actions described in:
