Bulk metadata update in alfresco community 5.1.f

Hai Everyone,

I need to update Bulk metadata for bulk documents in alfresco.

Example: I have uploaded 2000 documents in alfresco, for these 2000 documents i need to update metadata.

like Title, Description and author etc.....

Can anyone help me steps wise. how to update bulk metadata ...? in Alfresco

Create a rule on folder which and execute script which will update your metadata properties of your files

and using bulk import import all of your files to this folder. Link for bulk import

Import directory:

NodeRef: http://localhost/share/page/site/nfc-dms/documentlibrary

But it is showing empty, Actually i need to upload 2000 files and i need to

update metadata.

can you please explain steps wise.

please enter your folder location where all files exists in your system like

Import directory:: "E:\Backup Folder\all previous data\New folder"

and go to alfresco repository and find the folder where you wanted to upload your files get the noderef  of that folder and enter it in example NodeRef: workspace://SpacesStore/5474a3c8-397e-4ab2-b208-a4a446790801

and initiate bulk import

Please go to that folder where you wanted to upload your files 
Click on view-details of folder action
See in URL you will be find something like this Here nodeRef=somestring is given
http://<<server>>:<<port>>/share/page/site/test/folder-details?nodeRef=workspace://SpacesStore/c95ea... 

please copy the value of nodeRef after "=" like this workspace://SpacesStore/c95ea4d8-5ae1-4bf9-bb5c-45772f
and paste it in nodeRef input of bulkImport

Now it is working fine, but i need to update bulk metadata.
