In my new project we are going to use Alfresco as backend and Angular as frontend, so we wish to remove/disable Share completely if possible. I read somewhat in internet and some people just removed share.war file. Is this safe? Is it the correct way for doing this? Will any errors appear in the future because of this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Yes, that is possible and totally safe, as Share is not a requirement to have Alfresco just as a backend repository.
Besides removing the share.war, you can also uninstall the share-services AMP.
The share-services is responsible for adding all the Share related components into the repository (alfresco.war).
