Images pulled from hub one time and you can use it local copies until you remove it. List of images

sudo docker images

Docker deployment simple and powerful, but it's important to understand the concept, how it works.

I can suggest you read about docker/docker-compose in general and this articles about Alfresco deployment:

But my server becomes so slow that even terminal stops to respond, I cant even ssh to it.

When I  try login to http://server:8080/share I get 504 Gateway timeout. Other applications are running on server and those urls like http://server/en/omk/open-audit/login work without a problem.

Alfresco docker-compose deployment minimum memory requirement is 12GB. It can starts on 8GB, but without any others application.

You use VM with 4GB memory. So try to start it directly on your 8Gb mint or take bigge vm.

The docker container is installed in Ubuntu vmware server which runs as a guest. Can I copy it to the Mint 19.2 host so that I dont need to download the software once again.

Which of these methods do you recommend? https://bobcares.com/blog/move-docker-container-to-another-host/
