FTS-Alfresco search query with text range

Hello,

I have a question that using Alfresco Full Text Search.

There are some example.

In the text field of file,

"..... point A = 11 ..... point B = 15 ....."

I want to query for range search like,

"point A should greater than 10 & point A should less than 12 & point B should greater than 14 & point B should less than 16"

is it possible?

in this case, the point is that type of search target is "TEXT" and I want to get range search result.

Hi

It is possible to do range on text but is probably does not do what you want. Text is lexicologically ordered - even if the text is numeric. Tokensied fields also give unexpected behaviour from the highest or lowest value. As your text is numeric, I do not think you will get what you expect.
