How do I connect remotely installed postgre SQL server with alfresco community edition?

Hi team,

Can any one guide me how to connect remotely installed postgre SQL server with alfresco community edition. i dont want to use default DB.Requested to share step by step format.because im completely fresher in alfresco.

It should be straightforward. please follow below steps.

1)  Set up your database in the remote postgres SQL server.  
2)  Create your empty alfresco schema and accounts.  

3)  Give appropriate access to accounts on alfresco database.

4)  Set the database url in alfresco-global.properties.   

5)  Start alfresco. 

It should work like charm.

Thanks for letting me know,i had created users ans some process in

activiti-explorer community version yesterday,but today it was not

availalble,Why this things happening,Could you please let me know
