Set Folder and File Permissions to Intersection of Multiple Groups

I am currently setting up Alfresco and am trying to set permissions for specific folders based on multiple groups (ex: in order to access a specific folder Folder 1, you must be a member of group A, group B, and Group C). However, I cannot find any way to set permissions based on multiple group criteria being met, just based on individual groups. Creating a new group of just the desired users would be more tedious for my current layout, so is there any way to natively do this in Alfresco or use the API to achieve a similar result?
