Hello, I am using ACS 6.0.2.
I found that some of the uploaded Docx files can be previewed and some are not. I made a minimal set that reproduces it. The okng.zip in the link below contains two Docx files.
okng.zip
The only difference between ok.docx and ng.docx is the presence or absence of the top one letter. Both are about 20KB in size.
I can preview ok.docx, but ng.docx fails content conversion(I put the log in the zip file).
When I ran the soffice.bin command directly, both were able to convert to PDF as below.
alfresco-content-services-community-full/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin --headless --convert-to pdf ok.docx
alfresco-content-services-community-full/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin --headless --convert-to pdf ng.docx
It seems that there is a problem via socket.
Is there such a case?
Best regards,
ryo

Hi, Eddy.
Thank you for trying to reproduce my problem.
My installation was done by alfresco-content-services-community-full-installer-6.0.2.1-ea-linux-x64.bin.
The reason why it fails to convert was the contained libreoffice 5.2.1.2 in the environment is bit old. So I updated it to 6.4.3.2 and it solved my problems.
Best,
ryo
Has anyone ever failed to convert such a small file?
