Accessing Content Services from Java

Hello, I want to search through documents that i have located in my ACS in my custom Listener implemented in Java, but I'm having problems with finding if there are any services that could help me access file repository from activiti. Is there some kind of bean that would be helpful to me? Or should i somehow do it using REST?
