Problemi e Curiosità
Salve,
sono un nuovo utilizzatore (se così mi posso definire) di questo sistema ma avendo iniziato oggi ho ovviamente qualche problemino di troppo.
Ve li elenco:
Ho eseguito la modifica del file di configurazione per la lingua italiana, ma, nonostante al login ho solo Italiano, resta tutto in inglese.
Non riesco a vedere Alfresco come unità di rete
Vorrei poter far si che le cartelle personali degli utenti non siano leggibili da nessuno (eccetto l'utente stesso e gli admin ovviamente)
Vorrei cambiare il path dove salva tutti i documenti per farlo lavorare su di un disco di rete per il salvataggio dei dati mentre il sistema resterebbe su un Server apposito (probabilmente Linux).
Spero che qualcuno possa aiutarmi in questi piccoli inceppi iniziali ai quali ancora non sono venuto a capo dopo vari tentativi.

Ti ricordo che tutti i progetti presenti sulla Forge di Alfresco non sono ufficialmente supportati da Alfresco nel caso si verifico problemi di installazione o configurazione, sono plugin ed extensions sviluppati dalla community.

Sarebbe a questo punto ideale che ti leggessi il manuale per gli utenti di Alfresco:

Ricordati di configurare Alfresco direttamente dal classloader condiviso (extension folder) e non all'interno della web application, questo ti permetterà di customizzare e configurare Alfresco esternamente dandoti maggior libertà di cambiare versione

Ciao e grazie innanzitutto per i vari suggerimenti ad ogni mia domanda.

Poi non mi è chiaro il consiglio riguardo extension, o meglio, non ho ben chiaro il funzionamento di Alfresco rispetto ai file di configurazione, in quanto, il file repository è dentro webapps mentre altri file (e la cartella extension) si trova dentro share/classes
Quindi io devo modificare il file repository e spostarlo (o copiarlo?) dentro la cartella share\…..\extension\?
Ed il path che inizia con D:\ va messo tra "" tipo "D:\DATI" o in un modo diverso?
Grazie mille per il supporto, purtroppo essendo nuovo di questo tipo di cose sono molto ma molto impreparato, ma, mi hanno chiesto di imparalrlo per lavoro, e quindi ce la devo mettere tutta e spero nell'appoggio del Forum ^^

Se scarichi il bundle Alfresco con Tomcat, per esempio, troverai tutti i file da configurare nell'opportuna cartella all'interno del classloader condiviso di Tomcat, ovvero il foder shared/classes/alfresco/extension.
Ed il path che inizia con D:\ va messo tra "" tipo "D:\DATI" o in un modo diverso?Per quanto riguarda la configurazione della dir.root del repository, ovvero lo storage su file system devi sempre valorizzarlo con un path assoluto e ricordati che anche su Windows è necessario utilizzare "/" al posto di "\" altrimenti Alfresco non riuscirà a referenziare correttamente il contentstore.

Eccomi di nuovo a fare da cavia (magari le mie domande torneranno utili a qualcunaltro, almeno spero).
Sono finalmente riuscito a far funzionare la lingua italiana (scompattando il file jar e mettendo i singoli file dentro message come suggerito nella guida nella "installazione alternativa").
Sono riuscito a far mettere i dati su un path diverso utilizzando il file tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco-global.properties
Ora, mi stavo studiando il CIFS per le unità di rete, ho visto che devo abilitare alcune funzioni tra cui lo stesso cifs, quello che non mi è chiaro, è su quale file devo andare a mettere mano, oppure, se devo aggiungerle io ex novo nel file alfresco-global.properties
Potresti darmi un aiuto iniziale così che tramite test riesco ad arrivarci anche da me?

ho reinstallato Alfresco su un Server Linux e sunfiona tutto per ora.. o meglio vado a elencare
Alfresco è in Italiano.
Alfresco punta su un NAS di rete per il repository.
Ho creato utenti e gruppi con permessi vari su varie cartelle e sottocartelle
Ho attivato il Server CIFS e FTP e funzionano MA…
Eccco.. l'ultimo MA è il mio attuale problema.
Non riesco a loggare su Alfresco tramite \\IP\Alfresco con più di un utente alla volta!!!
Essendo un sistema di archiviazione dati ho bisogno che più gente ci possa lavorare contemporaneamente in quanto andrò a implementare le Office Add-in a tutti i compuer cosìcche in automatico ogni utente della rete lavori sul repository di alfresco.
Qualche idea/test che possa mettermi a fare?

Un problema molto strano, sembrerebbe abilitato il single-user-only attribute del repository attivabile e disattivabile tramite una console JMX.
Sarebbe il caso di dare un'occhiata al file di log di Alfresco (alfresco.log) per capire il problema.

Infatti è strano in quanto non l'ho impostato da nessuna parte, magari il log a una persona più esperta da più informazioni di quante ne possa dare a me…

Infatti è strano in quanto non l'ho impostato da nessuna parte, magari il log a una persona più esperta da più informazioni di quante ne possa dare a me…
Ho anche notato che non trova pdf2swf nei bin di alfresco, questo come lo posso risolvere?

Allora siamo su Linux, quindi è molto probabile che hai i servizi samba e nmbd running.
Probabilmente risolvi in questo modo:
In ogni caso questo plugin serve per convertire automaticamente, utilizzando quindi il Web Client di Alfresco, qualsiasi file da PDF in file Flash da integrare direttamente nel tuo template HTML per il tuo sito/portale.
Per poterlo far funzionare devi scaricare i sorgenti da quì:
http://www.swftools.org/
Una volta scaricati li devi compilare e poi devi configurare Alfresco tramite il file custom-repository.properties con i puntamenti corretti al file eseguibile su file system.
Per maggiori informazioni riguardo pdf2swf puoi dare un'occhiata sulla wiki di Alfresco:

- disabilita i servizi samba e nmbd di Linux
- esegui un restart di Alfresco
Ho anche notato che non trova pdf2swf nei bin di alfresco, questo come lo posso risolvere?pdf2swf è un plugin opzionale, che se vuoi puoi anche non installare.
