Error when publishing from activiti-app

Hi

We have recently installed the share connector on a demo server following these instructions Alfresco Activiti.

After completing the setup we are able to access Share and the Alfresco Process Services app and can see there is integration between both apps. However when trying to use the Alfresco Process Services app to publish an app definition we get the following error:

"Could not publish app definition. Check the validity of the referenced process models" - The logs with an exception can be seen at the bottom of this question.

This happens on any process we try to publish including the default ones.

Another thing to note is that if we use 'Validate the model' button it successfully validates without issue.

Has anyone experienced this before or can anyone provide any help?

Strange! Not sure if this will be of any help..Did a quick google and found a similar error and there are mentions of JDK versions in that thread. StAXSource exception in 5.12 default war 

Wondering if you are able to try this with Java version: 1.7.X?
